Introduction to MCC

Leo has been a clinical social worker for 36 years. He first held licensure in Clinical Social Work in Massachusetts then in Maine for the past 28 years in private practice. He has taught at several undergraduate programs in psychology, human growth and development, and counseling techniques. He holds degrees in Psychology, and Clinical Social Work from USM and UCONN School of Social Work respectively. He is certified in EMDR and Clinical Hypnosis (ASCH-1991) and is a member of the Association for Play Therapy as well as the National Association of Social Workers. He has over 90 hours of advanced training in Trauma Treatment specializing in dissociative disorders and complex post traumatic stress disorders. He also combines Clinical Hypnosis and EMDR for performance enhancement. he also provides consultation and supervision to other clinicians.


Linda holds licensure in both New Hampshire and Maine and has advanced degrees from UNH and USM. She is also a Registered Play Therapist- Supervisor, an Approved Clinical Supervisor and an Approved Consultant Supervisor in EMDR. (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing). Linda has experience as a school counselor, 10 years in private practice prior the beginning of MCC, and has been an adjunct faculty member at Plymouth State University, Plymouth, New Hampshire. At PSU, Linda taught graduate and post graduate courses in play therapy and clinical counseling with supervision. Linda also presents workshops on clinical issues, especially addressing Play and Sand Tray Therapies. Linda was a founding member of the Maine Association for Play Therapy (MEAPT) and continued on the board for several years. At MCC she sees children, adults, couples and families. She also provides clinical consultation in her practice.
